Haii guys,

I got bored today so I found a cool script and decided to make www.urlz.behttp://, a URL shortener like TinyURL or bit.ly.

The only difference is, mines awesome.

You can use a custom name for your URL (urlz.be/something) or just use the next one that it gives you.

You can also add bookmarks to your toolbar to create links from webpages.

URL links never expire or anything, there are no ads, if people like it I'll consider adding more features.

I made something like this a LONG time ago, Yours is alot nicer though since i was a noob back then.

Maybe i should see what i can do now :ninja:

There's a DoS exploit in ur site, if you enter a tinyurl that goes to the url your gonna redirect, redirect loop = DoS

http://urlz.be/m < for example

a good thing to do would be blocking tinyurl's from being shortened

Not possible, Firefox will stop you and Internet explorer wont even load the page.

Unless you're on a dumb browser that keeps trying.

P.S it works with ie6

As FrostBytez said, most browsers (at least Firefox and Chrome) will stop loading pages after it loops about 10 times.
With that said, I'll start blocking some of the other shortening services to stop abuse like this.

EDIT: Just blocked around 10-15 URL shortening services (the most popular ones) to stop redirect loops. Sure, people can still get around it, but I can't be bothered blocking every single shortening service.

Well, if it's done on purpose by a botnet, i don't wanna know
