So I've been listening to a lot of power metal lately. I don't know why, but it works great when working. It's strangely uplifting.
I've also come to really like the genre on its own. I mean, it's silly, it's nonsensical, but it's balls to the fucking wall, and I couldn't love it more.
It's like what happens when you're stuck in a traffic jam, and you hear a song that you know by heart, and you stop caring about the others around you. You just crank it up, and sing along so loud your throat starts to hurt.
Maybe it's just me though.
