That turns out to be... hang on, let me get back into physics class...
0.5 * 9.81 m/s² * (8.5 s)² =~ 354m

Fuck, can that be right? I don't think it's quite THAT high but I don't see the error in my math.

Wouldn't the spinning have an influence on this?
 
Hm, not really. I think the problem is that I didn't account for air resistance slowing it down.

When you google the name in the left top corner of the video, you get the height of the attraction:

450ft = 137m

The difference with your calculated height will be the drag.
