New rule regarding double posting 'bumps'

I've been thinking about this for a while and decided to create the following rule;

Double posting is allowed IF there is no reply in a period of 10 days.

• Double posting is not allowed in the 'forum games' board though.
• And just for the record: Triple-posting (or more) is NEVER allowed.

There is probably going to be some negative response to this rule, but there aren't that many downsides.

What about double posting in a topic where you had the last post, but there is new info about that topic which you'd like to share and a understandable period has already passed?

If many people think this isn't enough, we can always raise the limit.

Important info/news can be an exception.
