Need some help with my "new" old laptop...

Hey guys..
So I have some problems..
So my laptop is cnnected with a VGA cable to my "Flat TV HD ready Philipps", but the resolution is awfull :s look at thse pics..

here is the screen on my tv :s...


See, I can't even see the home buton :/..

And here is my second problem rofl :s look at this xD I didn't found how to solve this .s I don't want t break it you know..

They are old you knw and it was my sister who broke them, but knw I want to repair them :s...

With my big tv I've never been able to get a good resolution when I connect my laptop, but a great fit when I connect my pc. So this would be helpful

@ panki, by changing the resolution it wont help :/..
And I can't use 1600x1200 :/

For the last pic I suggest trying to open the front cover of the speaker, go around the back of it and firmly push it back in place, then put it back on q:
