After four seasons on NBC, Heroes has been cancelled, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The super-series averaged less than 5 million viewers in its latest season. The network had considered giving the Tim Kring-produced drama a few more episodes to wrap up storylines, but the cost of the show and NBC's expanding fall slate led to Heroes' cancellation.

Law & Order, Trauma and Mercy were also canceled by the network, which has already ordered 11 new series for the fall, including J.J. Abrams' Undercovers and Jerry Bruckheimer's Chase.

NBC cancels Law & Order, picks up SVU and Law & Order: Los Angeles

Reps for the NBC series declined TVGuide.com's request for comment.

IMO Ending it so abruptly is just unfair to the creators and viewers.

I didn't like the show anyways. Wasn't even good to spend time IMO. Instead NBC should bring back Shark, the one with Sebastian Stark. Well that show I love.

Heh, Never watched it .. Well, once.

But I gotta tell you. When I came on the topic, the picture that has "Heroes" on it.
I accidentaly thought it says "Whores". Don't know why though.

"Whores officially cancelled, - NO ENDING", I see the sadness.

Actually liked the show pretty much, some eps were bad, but others were just fantastic. Though the avarage user rating in the USA might be 5 million it is a lot higher in Europe and other countries.
Too bad they end it just like this :/
Would have been nice to see what actually would have happend after the last ep
