GTA Online General Discussion Thread

Wait. There’s a certain order? I have to trigger this somehow? I thought I’d just visit all these in random order.
98 figures can be found in random order, and collecting those will make the 2 final figures spawn.

And the cards have been in there since the casino update. Again, there is a reddit thread somewhere which gives you a map with all locations, and a short description in the comments.
The rewards for collecting all of them is
the High Roller outfit, which is the suit shown in the thumbnails. For female chars, it's a dress with the same pattern.

Cheers, I know what I'm doing when I get home!

Found the perfect guide for the figurines but stopped at 50/100 for now because I got bored.

Jesus fucking christ, I nearly crapped my pants.

There is a new treasure hunt, with the new DLC. In it, you have to find 5 clues, leading you to
The Slasher, who will give you the Navy Revolver if you kill him
.
Now, I was looking for the 5th clue, which you're supposed to find in the woods, at night. It's dark in my house as well, it's dark in the game, it's creepy, and the clues emit a weird whispering sound effect when you're near one.
Now, right as I turn around... My PC crashes. It does that when I'm playing GTAV, no idea why.
But, every time it crashes, it emits a horrible, demonic screeching sound. Think of the typical "glitch.wav" sound, and then amp that up to 100. That's the sound that suddenly burst out of my headphones, doing something creepy, in a dark house.
Yeah, I banged my knee against my desk, jumped nearly 50cm in the air, and somehow managed to avoid knocking over my glass. And now I'm creeped out.

Damn, really curious to play this myself now
And you were lucky you didn't knock everything over on your desk!

Man, it's sad how my PC can't run GTA Online well. Can't even hit 60 with Normal settings. :(

I'm guessing your GPU is the biggest bottleneck?
The thing is though that when GTA O lobby is empty I get better frames, but the moment there are other players my fps keeps dropping D:

IIRC singleplayer runs just fine with higher settings as well

That is strange indeed..

Of all the cars released so far with the casino heist DLC there isn't really one that's worth buying performance-wise.

For the past 5-ish years I haven't been able to experience snow in Online since I was always abroad.
Downloading GTA V on the hotel wifi right now

It's downloaded and installed!
Unlocked the Christmas pajamas  Really like the white look of Los Santos.

Too lazy to watch?
#1 and #2 are almost exactly the same in performance. Emerus is slightly faster (but the difference is insignificant), and the Krieger is "easier" to drive. Think I'm gonna buy a Krieger.

^Yeah, the trick that I have found is to count down to 4 when the prompt to spin the wheel shows. The timeout is 4 full seconds, and if you manage to start the spin right before the end, the wheel will end up on the car... But it's tricky to get the precise point down properly.
