Amazing staple art

Baptiste Debonmourg, professional painter doesn't use any paint on the white canvases below. Instead he uses around 30 000 staples for every artwork.

One "painting" requires at least 70 hours of work from him.
He says to be inspired by the Mannerism art period.

Debonmourg calls his staple-art 'Aggravure'.

How do they do this? I'm fucking glad I can hammer a nail straight, or draw a stick figure.

I think they use a stapler.

Serious: I guess very light pencil drawing, then start filling up that with staples.
OR just a lot of checking a drawing on paper, walking back, and start stapling like a maniac again.
