Expect two more movies to come out, at that point we'll be next to Ocean's 11.

So they had Ocean's 11, then 12, and 13. Now they have 8, after that 9, and finally 10.

Is the point of naming these movies just to piss off future generations? So that they look back and go "We've got 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13, but we have no idea where 1-7 are, or why 11-13 look older."

I find the Star Wars movies order equally confusing.

Well, at least chronologically they are correct. 1 before 2, before 3, and so on.

Also, there aren't any gaps.
