I don't think the Scottish actually care, and it wasn't that bad when I was in Edinburgh.
Looking forward to visiting Ireland one day though, love that accent more.

I don't think the Scottish actually care, and it wasn't that bad when I was in Edinburgh.
Looking forward to visiting Ireland one day though, love that accent more.
If you're ever in Dublin, go visit Howth. It's pretty nice up there, and there's an awesome little fish & chips restaurant near the coast. But most importantly: TAKE THE TRAIN. They call out each station in both English (with their glorious accent), and in Gaelic, which is completely incomprehensible.

It's fucking weird. The language is completely bonkers. As in, it's derived from Dutch, somehow, but they act really weird about it. It's a bit like Catalonia, but with less "INDEPENDENCE REEEEE"
