With JDownloader you will not waste a minute of your time when you download a file from sites such as Rapidshare or Megaupload: you just have to paste the links of your interest and let this amazing program in charge of the rest.

^ In other words, jDownloader automatically changes your IP address so that you almost download as a premium user.

Characteristics

* It is compatible with multiple languages:
     JDownloader supports various languages, such as Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Russian and many more.

* It avoids waiting times:
     JDownloader supports the introduction of a special configuration to avoid the waiting periods given in between downloads. It is based on a new IP assignment.

* It supports Premium accounts:
     JDownloader is compatible with special accounts (the ones that are paid), which improves the speed and download time even more.

* It extracts RAR files:
     JDownloader merges and extracts files that are divided or compressed in RAR format. This process is performed after the downloads are finished.

jdownloader.org says that it changes the IP by reconnecting. It doesn't use a proxy.

From what I read there it doesn't work if you have a static IP adress. Only works with a dynamic IP adress I guess

How about read my post and look that it DOESN'T work... I don't have a static IP, and I still have to wait..

HOW ABOUT you be fucking sure that your IP actually changes after downloading file 1 and before downloading file 2.

Maybe they mean jDownloader gets rid of the wait RS gives you after you download something that says something like "You just downloaded <this much>, please wait <this long (usually a LONG time)> before you download again"

It never actually says it would remove the time before downloading each file, it says in between

* It avoids waiting times:
     JDownloader supports the introduction of a special configuration to avoid the waiting periods given in between downloads. It is based on a new IP assignment.

Download 1 - Download 2
Between those two is "before DL 2" and "after DL 1"

But have you never had the message that says you've downloaded (this much) from Rapidshare, wait 70 minutes before downloading again?

That happens to me all the time, and it doesn't with jDownloader

:?

jDownloader is just so freakin' awesome.

The feature I'm loving the most is the auto-extract, God that's handy.

Just saying...
This looks an awfull lot like downloading with grabit (newsgroups) now xD
And btw, someone dled Reloaded-NeedForSpeedShift from the newsgroups, then someone put it on the torrents, and finally some one put it on something like rapidshare.

if u want to have a good time with Jdownloader buy premium from rapidshare or stop downloading from them.. rapidshare stink. they'r moneymakers..

u can download 20gb from megaupload each day with jdownloader without any problems with the speed :) and if u register not pay or anything just register u get a storage of ur uploads etc ^^ much better then rapidshare and u dont have to pay cash to download a 1gb movie.
