Stunt races guide

This topic is dedicated to helping you win all of the (new) stunt races.
NOTE: These are based on my personal experience, so not an exact science  :laugh:

What's should normally be your vehicle of choice?
  • Super class -> Nero Custom
  • Sports class - > Elegy RH8
  • Bikes class -> Shotaru

Exceptions: (recently I've noticed that the above vehicles aren't the best ones in a few rare cases)
  • Pier Race -> RE-7B
    I was giving my best and lost from two guys in RE-7B's. Why? The track has tons of bends, Nero Custom needs a lot of straights to win from RE-7B)
  • Big Drop -> Schafter V12 (needs some additional testing)
    Again I was giving my best in an Elegy R8 and lost from a guy in a Schafter V12. I guess when your sports stunt race is mostly straight this thing blows everything away.

General tips
  • Use curb boosting in Super and Sports races
    What is curb boosting? Basically you try to go on and off the curb every chance you get, this gives you a microboost every single time.

  • "fly" your motorcycle in bike races
    Basically you pull back in the air as if you're doing a wheelie, this makes you "fly" incredibly fast. Be careful to not lose control or fly off the track though.

  • In contact races when you have a group or two cars in front of you, hold your distance, I can't even begin to count how many times a group of 5 cars in front of me all crashed together and I suddenly was 5 places higher up.

  • Avoid contact races if you rage easily. Because you will, without a doubt, go insane. The additional benefit of non-contact is also no catchup or slipstream.

More tips coming soon™

This is useful, already learned couple new tricks, cheers!

Although the fact there are these small "not-intended-to-be-there" tricks is unfortunate. Just like tapping lean forward button on bikes in GTA SA.

Added a gif for the "flying".
It's so satisfying to do this trick, but so frustrating when you mess up.
