Apple Unveils iOS 5, iCloud at WWDC
« on: June 07, 2011, 07:25 »
Apple made several big announcements this morning at the Worldwide Developer’s Conference.

*  iCloud, Apple’s new storage and syncing service, has arrived.
*  iOS 5 is due out in fall. It adds more than 200 new features.
*  Mac OS X Lion, the final OS X update, arrives in July for $29.

The most important piece of news here is one of the big new iOS 5 features: PC free. Once iOS 5 ships, iOS device owners will be able to activate, sync, and update without needing to plug into a computer. Finally!
